For a quick intro, I'm a Bachelor in Computer Engineering graduate
from the Pune Institute of Computer
Technology (PICT), Pune, India.
I am currently working with Codito
Technologies Pvt. Ltd. on porting uClinux to a new architecture,
some RTLinux
work and writing some IEEE1394 camera drivers.
I spend my free time working on a project called AudioLink. It's a
software that makes managing (and building catalogues of) your music
collection (MP3 or Ogg Vorbis) easier. It's something that I always
wanted... there were some softwares that did such stuff, but I wanted
to write something of my own and learn Perl... what better way than
this? It's free software (GPL'ed), give it a try!
Of late, I'm spending more of my free time on Debian and writing articles for Kerneltrap. Visit my Debian
page for the list of packages that I maintain for Debian and the
docs section for the links to articles on
KernelTrap.
I occasionally deliver some lectures at PICT on Linux. Around
Jan-Mar. 2003, I delivered lectures on Operating Systems, Computer
Networks, Linux, etc. along with some colleagues. The schedule and
detailed information for the lectures is here.
I also guided a BE project group. They implemented a basic version of
DSM capabilities for openMosix. Currently, they have a version that
can migrate shared memory processes. More details about MigShm are here. These girls were
recently interviewed
by the Linux Journal people.
Engineering assignments for FE, SE, TE, BE computer students
can be found in the code section.
